The anti-vaxxers are licking their chops over the death of Colin Powell since he had the Covid vaccine.

What they are conveniently leaving out is that Mr. Powell suffered from multiple myeloma, a white blood cell cancer. The vaccine probably did him little good because he simply lacked the ability to produce antibodies. He was a sitting duck for the virus. Nature magazine reports

And people like you are licking your chops to have a reason to bash “anti-vaxxers”. You are politicizing it as well. Technically he was probably a sitting duck for ANY virus.

As have been about 85% of so-called "Covid deaths" -

I'm not licking my chops over anything, I'm simply not taking the vaccine. And there is not a damn thing you can do about it

Did the anti-vaxxers write the headlines that Powell died of covid complications. Here's one:

Colin Powell dies of complications from Covid.

Wondering how many medications/chemo he was taking for his various illnesses, Parkinson's too in addition to the cancer. Perhaps the cocktail of drugs in his system in addition to the vaccine, might have played a part in his demise.

In this case, Covid is a complication of cancer, kind of like any infection is a complication of AIDS.

I think the argument where Covid is concerned is that it's been patently misleading to suggest 750K (or whatever it is now) people have died because of Covid. Reality is that most of these folks already had a foot in the grave and were just waiting on the next virus or fall or whatever to tip them over that edge. Covid is powerful in that "role" - so it'/s not just the bone dry kindling it's taking, but it isn't lethal enough to be a real/substantial threat for people that are healthy and not way old/frail.

Not true at all. He did indeed Covid however some opportunists are trying to claim he died of Covid despite the vaccine when in reality, the vaccine probably did little good since he didn't have the ability to produce antibodies.

So then why the big push to get everyone the shot, especially high risk folks, like those who have had or have cancer?
Why not just tell the truth and tell them they are fricked if the get the Covids?

Just like almost everyone else that died from covid. At least the ones they didn't kill with the ventilators or Remdesivir.

So he was over 80 with comorbidities like the majority of covid deaths? And the vaccine didnt help him?

This is what weve been saying the entire time you fricking morons. We crushed our economy for this and sent people to an early grave through od and suicide and people like Powell were already dying.

Whenever you see or hear the phrase "complications from Covid-19" it means they died from something else while Covid positive.

This is why "excess deaths" are important to track. How many of those did we have last year?

He was a poor candidate for it, or any other vaccine. As a MM patient he was immunocompromised and should have been following strict guidelines regarding personal interactions - especially with respect to C19 - and it looks like someone let him down.

That being said, we have no clue as to whether he was in the 45% of MM patients that respond acceptably to the jab, or the 55% that do not. There is plenty of data to look at (or ignore) if you're needing to see (wanting to hide from) evidence that the fully vaccinated are increasingly susceptible to infection, becoming vectors for the virus, hospitalization, and death.
