For those curious, it doesn't mean DACA is here to stay. It means the administration needs to explain the reason for the decision rather than merely labeling it "unlawful." This is going to piss him off and they are going to get rid of it.

Won’t happen but, theoretically, Trump could make thousands of EOs on his way out of the office and make his successor litigate them.
Won’t happen in practice because of who the judges are that would deal with this but that is the kind of horseshite this enables.

Why does this even matter. It was an executive order not a law. What one President does via an EO should be able to be done away with by another President for no other reason that "because I felt like it." It's insane to say otherwise
