Wrong again.
Mike Johnson is holding it up.
The power to bring specific bills to a vote rests primarily with the majority party leadership in each chamber of Congress, specifically the Speaker of the House and the Senate Majority Leader.
Who got Mike Johnson elected to do his bidding?

SDV doesn't get this.
If Trump wanted a vote on the Abolish USAID Act, it would happen.

Who’s spending the 41 billions? I don’t think there’s anyone at the office to cash the check anymore?
I’m pretty sure the State Department has taken over the majority of USAID functions.

If we can just print money out of thin air, and give it away to make friends, without any consequences, then tell me why wouldn’t we?
Aside from that 39 trillion in debt and our children’s future as well as funding all of the democrat peaceful protests and funding ISIS and Al Queda 45 million a week, it’s money well spent!

It’s all been a farce. Trump came out swinging hard after the failed assassination attempts but after they murdered Kirk he has quietly rolled back everything we gained. The message to him was “we may not can get you but we can get to all of your friends and loved ones” and now he is doing the deep states bidding.
They won. We lost
They won. We lost

Dude didn't really cut anything his first term, why would anyone expect any significant cuts his second term?

DOGE was a massive failure considering what was promised and what was actually delivered.

I thought most of USAID was shutdown and what remained was transferred to the State Department.

Was all of USAID shutdown

No, not all of USAID was shut down, but the agency as an independent entity was effectively dismantled and officially closed in 2025.In the second Trump administration, starting January 2025, USAID underwent rapid dismantling:A foreign aid freeze was imposed early on.
Thousands of programs (over 80–86%) were terminated.
Staff were massively reduced through layoffs, furloughs, and reductions in force.
The agency's headquarters closed, its website went down, and overseas operations were curtailed.
On July 1, 2025, USAID was officially shut down as an independent agency, with remaining functions and a small number of programs transferred to the U.S. Department of State under Secretary Marco Rubio. Some limited humanitarian, health, and strategic aid activities continue under State Department oversight, but the standalone USAID no longer exists. This action faced criticism for being chaotic, potentially unconstitutional (as ruled by some federal judges early on), and leading to significant global impacts, including estimated hundreds of thousands of additional deaths from disrupted health and nutrition programs. The administration justified it as eliminating waste and realigning aid with "America First" priorities. As of December 2025, former USAID responsibilities are handled by the State Department, marking the end of the agency founded in 1961.
