That will discredit the HOF if this is allowed to happen. Dude was mediocre at best.

No way that guy deserves to be Hall of Fame.

I don't. But it would be nice to see Mike Ditkas comments on this subject.

The NFL version of Obama’s Nobel Prize.

We are approaching 5 years since his retirement...

Yeah, that's not choreographed Leftist Agitprop.

Wouldn't shock me at all if this happens, honestly.
And the part about "giving up his career bc he loves his country" is laughable. He HATES the US, and he has said so many times.

I mean just do it at this point. Athletes, along with professional and amateur sports, are a complete joke, let’s just keep the clown show going.
Might as well have Colin Keapernick sit out the entire season then let him take over the starting job for the best team in the NFL when they make it to the Super Bowl. Then outlaw anyone playing defense against him and his new team, and crown him the King/Commissioner of the NFL after he puts up 100 points en route to the biggest Super Bowl margin of victory ever.
I’m so done with sports and the embarrassing fake clown show they’ve become

"I'm done with the woke NFL"
Also: "the NFL better not induct Kap into the hall of fame"

Can you not be done with the NFL and still cherish honoring those who EARNED the induction before the Left hijacked the game? Answer: Yes.

He didn’t “sacrifice his career”, he got figured out by opposing defensive coordinators and was on the downswing before he started this shite.
It was a combination of him falling for his girlfriend’s bullshite / him feeling guilty he was raised by whites as well as him needing a new gig once he washed out of the league.

Played 6 seasons. 69 games total. Only 72 touchdowns. 30 interceptions. Finished 1-10 and 2-6 in his last 2 seasons. Played in 1 Super Bowl, but didn't win. No MVP's.
Not exactly a HOF career there. Not even close.

Ugh...
I am done with sports at this point. They have been a huge part of my life, and I'll miss them. Not in the sense that I'm going to miss watching whatever this stuff is now, because I won't. I'll miss the way I once felt about them, and the players and coaches that made that time in my life special.
Despite having no interest in watching current sports, I find myself drawn to old games and players on YouTube because I'll always love that stuff.
As such, Halls of Fame for the various leagues still mean something to me, because they house the legends of the sport when I cared about watching them. In a very real sense, they will be the houses of when I stopped caring, so to diminish them by adding this guy to it is like going back in time and tarnishing the league even before all of this stuff started happening.
Essentially, there is nothing inconsistent with holding both of your suggested points.

I’d support this if we were talking about inducting Pat Tillman to the HOF. Kaepernick, otoh, had already tanked his career before he got woke and has done nothing but sow division in this country for his own personal gain.
This whole idea is so ridiculous and offensive that I’ve gone past being angry about it to being embarrassed on behalf of the “men” who would propose such a thing. They call Kaepernick a hero when the cameras are rolling, knowing in their heart of hearts that they’d never trust him with anything of substance or personal meaning to them, just so they can appease their handlers. They’re hardly better than slaves themselves.

He really just wasn't that good to begin with. He was ok for a little bit until coordinators started making adjustments.
