US withdrawing from UN human rights council over anti Israel bias, Iran leniency

U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley has clashed with the council over its treatment of Israel and has repeatedly voted against U.N. measures that were critical of that country. Most recently, the U.S. and Australia were the only two members to vote against a proposal to investigate Israel's alleged use of excessive force in Gaza.

Good. the UN human rights council, and the UN in general, is a complete farce. I'm for completely disbanding and defunding the whole shambling corpse of an organization.

This is a fricking joke. The world outright tells us "we want your money and we don't want your opinion" and not only are we supposed to bend over and take it, many of our own citizens agree with the sentiment.
