Your point is complete bullshite and demonstrates your complete lack of education on anything touching the military. In the early years of OEF/OIF the threat from IED's wasn't known, the HMMWV was designed in an era when doctrine was centered around fighting the USSR, force-on-force combat not urban close combat/nation building with an embedded threat that used improvised explosives. The DoD very quickly started up-armoring the vehicles, but to get soldiers extra protection sooner they allowed in-field modifications while also getting contractors in to help fabricate armor plates. Compared to Vietnam, the Army did much better at actually addressing insurgent threats as they changed. Something your Chinese/Russian knob slobbing won't admit.

It was funny being at joint bases in afg seeing the British and Australian vehicles pretty much stripped down no top hmmvv while we had mraps and other huge overly heavy armored vehicles. Granted they didn’t patrol or leave as much but I wouldn’t want to be rolling around in that.

Those two points in this context are completely unrelated. Ukraine wasn’t even on the radar when that video was filmed. Just take the L and stop digging yourself into a bigger, more retarded hole.
