Sad day in American history. People lost their lives but Republicans and the turtle just want to sweep it under the rug.

Despicable.

Been what seems like a lifetime since I’ve seen a liberal melt. Feels good man.

don't hitch my support to certain politicians. I want justice. Plain and simple. I'd prefer them all to be investigating for any wrongdoings. What happened at the Capitol on Jan 6th was wrong. It deserves an investigation as to why it was allowed to happen. Thinking otherwise is simply stupid and shows that we aren't standing up for our country and just protecting certain powerful people.

Exactly, the people here don't understand that most of us on the left or center don't treat our representatives like celebrities that can do no wrong. If it comes out ANY Democrat helped or was in any way part of this crap, I want them out of office immediately.

Sadly, the republicans want to just close their eyes and pretend it didn't happen.

This was literally EVERY democrat in regards to last summer’s riots.

No, you treat them like "I don't care how much wrong they do"

It would be wise to investigate. The problem is with the dems in control it would be nothing if the sort. It would be a tool to further their agenda. There is nothing bipartisan about it.

Except no, it was supposed to be a bipartisan commission and be run entirely independent but keep making excuses on why you don't want it investigated.

Perhaps because it was your guys supporters.

And to the above comment, I'd love to see anyone in a blm movement who rioted or looted arrested and brought to justice.

You do, do you? I take it you didn’t vote for Biden/Harris then since she supported a fund to bail rioters out of jail.

I think that was incredibly stupid and I don't support her decision to ask others to do that. But you do realize that bailing someone out doesn't make them innocent right? It just let's them not sit in jail while they wait for their trial.

The people in this thread seem to think that a "commission" actually means an independent and thorough inquiry that actually seeks the truth. No commission in DC is ever started unless the outcome is already decided.
