No. It’s that we live in Revolutionary times and know the historical escalation signs. If not today, tomorrow. All we are doing is holding them off a bit at a time and crossing our fingers.

I agree that I’m ready to believe the worst. That’s because I am a student of history, human nature and human psychology. I wish for the best but expect the worst, because that is the history of humanity.
I am the OPPOSITE of a leftist, current wisdom history started on the day you were born autist guy, I am someone a man who remembers the past and is “ primed “ for it to repeat itself, as it always does.
My belief that “There is nothing new under the sun” is a far better approach than your “ I am God and nothing bad ever happens “ approach. You are September 10 man. You are 1938 man. You are 1860 Man. I correctly believe in the Tragic nature of Mankind while you believe Mankind can overcome our nature through tweaking the machinations of The State.

Well, that's not what's happening here. The hostility is getting bolder but it's not completely free of nuance or subtlety yet. Maybe we'll get there, but in a country with millions and millions of people who listen to Elon and Tucker and the like, the regime can't have their bluff immediately called.

We are in the middle of a cultural Revolution and losing badly. Social media, Hollywood and the popular culture are your proof. You are unable to state your beliefs without worrying about terrible repercussions . I would argue we have CLEARLY LOST the Institutional revolution ( this happened long ago) and are just discussing holding the line on the political revolution. This we are doing well on at this precise moment, but the overall trend is moving towards Man as God ie State as God.

They do. They want violence so it gives them the excuse to go full on authoritarian on the American right. And they’re not going to let Trump win it’s gonna be ugly.
