Objectively, it appears more as if Hezbollah is intent on continuing their war against Israel. And I'm no Israel apologist but I see what I see. Of course Israel is happy to keep fighting and killing the Shiites, but it looks more like Lebanon is kicking the hornets nest more than anyone.
So here's what I believe. The negotiators in the IRGC want a peace deal. The old guard in the IRGC (Hezbollah supporters) want no peace. They're fractured.
Nothing will be settled until the two factions fight it out, but sectarianism has absolutely no end in the middle-east. So here we are. Involved. And with no way out. And it's not like we can just "aRm tEh pEoPLe oF iRaN" because every time we've done that in the past, the armaments have ended up in the hands of terrorists and cartels.

Gaza, West Bank, East Jerusalem, Golan Heights, they had taken part of Egypt and gave it back as part of a peace treaty.
The IDF fights with a map of greater Israel as a patch on their uniforms. The current regime is dead set on the greater Israel project. You choose to ignore it for whatever reasons you have. But it exists.

I’ve been saying it since day one.
Israel uses the US to achieve THEIR foreign policy objectives. They are not an ally. And do more harm to the United States than any of our “adversaries”.
We have the highest population of Jews in the world outside of Israel. That is why we are involved in all their bullshite. They wield tremendous power over media and financial institutions and they just spent millions of dollars to unseat a principled maga guy because he didn’t support Israel.
It’s fricked up all of this is in our faces and we have people STILL defending them. There was a guy in a thread the other day defending them over attacking the USS Liberty. It’s absurd.
