but you believe we should divest of that and focus on buggy whips and covered wagons. Could you elaborate for us.......

Is your reading comprehension really this terrible or is this an act?

Are you retarded? The U.S. was not in a recession when Trump entered office. Also, the fed had begun lowering rates before the election in 2024, and has not raised them since then.

Reading is fundamental. They "had" raised interest rates, they lowered it right before the election to give biden a bump and then left them in place.

Yes we were in a recession, nearly 24 consecutive months where inflation outpaced job growth, inflation at nearly 10% and a false employment number of almost a million.....but you go ahead and believe the gdp number the biden administration was putting out.

We were certainly in a recession and on the edge of stagflation. Hence the man who won with 81,000,000 plus votes, the most ever in a POTUS election which obviously means he was the most popular POTUS ever, could not run for re-election under the guise of senility. So they presented Kamala, a proven liar, who could not lie well enough to the American people to make them feel just how great the economy was under her and Joey.

That economy was in the tank. The only light was the governmental hires.

Maybe Mark Carney should have listened to Trump. It appears Canada is on the way to Bankruptcy.
They may be the 51st state yet.

2% isn’t good. It’s not terrible, but it’s definitely not good. I doubt that is even outpacing inflation. 2% is effectively stagnant.

It’s definitely not the level growth that some claimed would offset all of the taxes breaks and help reduce the deficit.

Do you really not see the difference between $1 of investment in a manufacturing plant and $1 of investment in a data center?

Enlighten me, and copy Xi on it, he would like to know where the US is making capital investments.

Data centers create about 1 job per 50,000 square feet. Manufacturing plants create about 2 jobs per 1,000 square feet.

The US is making capital investments in ways that do not support American families.

And this is the naysayers argument for AI, the centers dont create a lot of jobs.......................while discounting the fact that AI will open unbelievable windows of opportunity and jobs along with it.

Machines will take all the jobs. Computers will take all the jobs. No no, AI is different it really will take all the jobs.

To see how quickly we have climbed out of that deep hole, and then to say, we have only grown 2% tells you the foundation has been set for the economy to explode.

There are scarcely any professional economists who believe AI will create more jobs than it will destroy.
