Honestly, I'd be ok with just stopping the bleeding at this point. It's a continuous flow of money that is only resulting in Ukraine's mismanagement of funds.

Not sure how much I buy into the whole "well what if Russia put missiles in Mexico pointing at us?" thing but I can see how Putin would be pissed. We need to stay tf out of there and save our money.

How much you want to bet that a large percentage of the munitions we've sent to Ukraine are being sold on the black market?

It's sick man. The MIC is evil. Ukraine will be a disaster for generations because of our meddling. The only upside is that Russia is de-Nazifying Ukraine and revealing the shitshow of corruption it is.

It seems the destabilization of the EU was the goal all along. If the West does not purge itself of these usurpers, the entire world will be run by these WEF shitheads.

So you're citing this year's NATO summit to support the notion that Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022 because of NATO?

And besides, yesterday's announcement amounts to nothing. Ukraine still has to end the war, meet the membership criteria, and obtain the unanimous consent of all 32 members. They are nowhere close to achieving any of those things--hence Zelensky throwing a tantrum.

Ukraine has been a disaster for centuries because of geography and the politics of its neighbors. That will likely never change.

Zelensky is just a miserable apology of a world "leader." No sense of "utang na loob", or debt of gratitude.

Citing the US official and public support of Ukraine joining NATO.

Seems better than referring to a negotiated membership action plan to argue that NATO members arent supporting ... uh... membership.

Explain how anything that happened at the 2023 Vilnius summit “poked Russia in the eye” and caused them to invade Ukraine in February 2022. That’s what you initially stated, that the US/NATO instigated the invasion by forcing Ukraine into NATO. That did not happen and is not even happening now.

But either way, nothing that anyone anywhere has said in 2023 is relevant to the discussion of whether or not the US forced Russia to invade Ukraine.

I would estimate 20-25% is in the bank accounts of US politicians.

I was simply showing that NATO/US support of Ukrainian membership was not "total fiction". This was the end game and Russia knew it.

Reuters

quote:

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia will take military and other steps along its borders if ex-Soviet Ukraine and Georgia join NATO, Russian news agencies quoted the armed forces’ chief of staff as saying on Friday.

This isnt complicated.

No one said that it was.

I said that this:
quote:

Nevermind that the US sealed Ukraine's fate by trying to ram them into NATO membership.

was total fiction.

Ukraine was no closer to NATO membership last February than it was in 2008 when NATO made the statement about Ukraine and Georgia. The thought that Russia suddenly decided to invade Ukraine in 2022 because Ukraine was going to join NATO is total fiction. It makes no sense, and it isn't based in reality.

Ukraine fired the prosecutor who was investigating Burisma. That's plenty of payback for the swamp.
