Yeah they did, 40% of them didnt show up. You really dont know anything about the region or any of the players capabilities.

We're not allies. We really aren't. They're not going to war to defend our interests, they actually have a history of doing the opposite.

Look at how they sold intel to Moscow during the Cold War.

And just so I'm not misunderstood, I don't look at that as a betrayal. They were just doing what was right for them.

That's what they've always done, and what we should expect them to do in the future.

Pakistan is troubled country. Partition was an awful mistake, and Pakistan, as it exists today, has this amazing existential paranoia.

That, coupled with their nukes, and their fundamentalism, makes them incredibly dangerous.

Should we supply them with aid? It buys us supply routes across the border. I don't know if we get much else.

Longterm, we should find a way to leave the region, and terminate our aid.

I'm sure India won't like that.

Once again you show your ignorance. I have trained with the Egyptians, Jordanians and Saudi’s. Unless something drastically changed in the past decade they are absolutely horrible militaries.

The Indians can take care of themselves.

They're more concerned about China at this point, although with the one belt project, it's morphing into a China-Pakistan problem.

Pakistan committed an entire division to protect the Chinese construction crews. That says a lot about Chinese influence in Islamabad.

Please explain which action you are claiming that 40% of their reservist didn’t show up?

Israel truly is our greatest ally, and we have a biblical obligation to their defense. I fully support spending US blood, treasure, and sons for their comfort and existence.

I disagree with your points on Pakistan. I’m not an expert on their country but from studying their alignment in the region, their Taliban friendly. Their supply lines and other LOC are a joke.

Their IC is a joke as well. If anything that’s what our Aid $ buys us; limited state secrets that’s suspect at best.

ETA:

We agree on something. We should leave that region.

That is exactly what I mean. A vast majority of Arab militaries are abysmal....which might be putting it lightly. They frickING SUCK. Their equipment is crappy and not maintained. Their troops show no discipline. And their leaders are there due to nepotism and could give two shits about anything but their own well being.

We've had this conversation on this board before. We're not going to pal up with iran. SA is handling their business concerning wahhabi extremism. It's over. Hezbollah can't beat Israel to think otherwise is fantasy. Hezbollah's days are numbered anyway. It's a brave new world that we're living in. One drastically different from even a year ago.

Yea thanks for not answering a simple question

Y’all live in some fantasy land thinking Wahhabism is on the decline

As for Hezbollah they already gave the IDF a bloody nose and have gotten stronger since.

I'm not entirely sure with what you're disagreeing with, so please chime in and help me.

As far as the Taliban go, absolutely, they're Taliban friendly.

In the event of a war with India, the Indians would overrun the country in the space of days. The Pakistani response to this problem was two fold, one, a nuclear first strike doctrine, and two, strategic depth via Afghanistan. That's why they supported the Taliban, they wanted a friendly government in Kabul that would give them that space.

I disagreed with your supply route suggestion.

I agree with your statement that we should leave. Let India have Afghanistan if they want it. They can engage in a 15+ year war. Someone else’s turn.

God will judge all who have opposed Judea on the final day before the great white throne. We have to be his sword to defend the chosen people.
