The U.S. added 64,000 jobs in November as the unemployment rate rose to 4.6 percent, according to delayed data released Tuesday by the Labor Department.
Economists had forecasted a gain of 40,000 jobs and 4.4 percent unemployment rate, according to consensus estimates.

The U.S. was adding roughly 76,000 jobs per month before factoring in the November report, treading dangerously close to the pace economists say is necessary to prevent unemployment from rising.
BLS has also issued several stark downward revisions to previous jobs reports, raising concerns about both the economy and how hard it may be to judge its health.

You'll be happy. December is the transition from QT to QE. In '26 the FR will be buying U.S. Treasuries again.

You're right. I just looked it up. Purchases began on December 12, starting with approximately $40 billion in Treasury bills over the initial period.

Just for a quick comparison, last year in November under Biden we gained 227k jobs.
But I'm sure our maga faithful are so excited that the FIFA peace prize recipient only cut it by more than 2/3's. So much winning.

Midterms are looking more and more bleak for the GOP. This is a bad report considering it’s holiday season when retail usually adds a ton of jobs to meet demand
Trump needs to worry less about foreign affairs and more about the economy and America First

Never going to happen. We will get EOs that might be nice but they will never be codified into law by this congress. The puppet masters will not allow it.
