The Syrian government has constructed and is using a crematorium inside its notorious Sednaya military prison outside Damascus to clandestinely dispose of thousands of prisoners it continues to execute inside the facility.?
At least 50 prisoners a day are executed in the prison, some in mass hangings, said Stuart Jones, the acting assistant secretary of state for the Middle East. A recent Amnesty International report called Sednaya a “human slaughterhouse” and said that thousands of Syrians have been abducted, detained and “exterminated” there.?
The government of President Bashar al-Assad, Jones said, has carried out these atrocities and others “seemingly with the unconditional support from Russia and Iran,” his main backers.
Here we go.

BREAKING - @StateDept’s Stu Jones says newly declassified info will shortly be released, detailing “the depth” of #Assad’s crimes in #Syria.
#pt: @StateDept’s Stu Jones:
- ‘The #Assad regime abducted 65,000-117,000 people from 2011-2015 & practiced extrajudicial mass executions.'
WOW: @StateDept’s Stu Jones:
- ‘We now believe the #Assad regime has installed a crematorium at Sednaya prison, to dispose of bodies.'
#pt: @StateDept’s Stu Jones asked if military action could target crematorium:
- ‘We’re not going to signal what we’re going to do’

Turn a blind eye to mass killings and atrocities? I guess it was a bad idea to send troops to Europe in the 1940s too huh?

What if they are all Isis supporters?

Are you honestly trying to compare US foreign interest in Western Europe during the 1940s (or any time for that matter) to today's Syria?

It's sad and depressing but it's what 3rd world shithole countries do and we still have no business going all in on regime change again with Syria and Assad like we did with Iraq and Saddam.
It just makes further destabilizes the region, emboldens jihadist nutjobs and creates more refugees fleeing the region.

So you would suggest that we deploy troops to most of Africa?
