Uptick in handicap parking

This evening around 430 est...I observed 10 handicap spots being used at a grocery store center near my house.
Flawless weather her in NC...what are the odds?
Half the cars have no signage...
One guy had nice looking sports car

My question is why do totally healthy people going to the gym to work out park as close to the front door as possible squeezing between parked cars to save 10 extra steps of walking?

You’d be pissed then bc it actually was 4:30 central bc the OP got EST and EDT backwards. Hint, we are on EDT now, not EST like the OP put. Daylight vs Standard time.

Why aren't fines being written to people abusing handicap parking...?
I mean honestly...it does piss me off...
Last time in the store... 2 young guys walked out...got in a car parked as close as possible in handicap spot...
They blared the radio, rolled windows down as if... "you got something to say?"

My wife and I are 72. She has had liver transplant and many other problems, she can barely walk. When we go o stores handicap spots are all full and scoters are all taken up by fat people younger than us who really need to walk. When I go by myself I park far away and walk

Just give everyone a handicap sticker then the parking will mean nothing.
It’s for people that really need it and it used a lot by people abusing the system.

There is a direct correlation between how fat a person is and how close they park (after waiting 15 minutes and blocking traffic) to the front of a Wal Mart.
Ive also noticed there is something you never see in a stair well.......fat people.

I had one after a major surgery, but I didn’t use it much because I knew people were worse than me so I’d crutch away. In NC all you need is a doctor to sign a form and pay.

I'll never be that guy who says something, because I don't give 2 flips. I think it's bogus to have a dozen handicap spots in a lot where 2 at most get used.

I read an article once where you could tell a lot about a person's integrity by if they return/or dont return their grocery cart to the proper spot.
Recently at a bulk store I watched an old man push his cart across the parking lot and to the front of the store, I told him that story and he smiled and almost giggled, I said there are still some of us out there eh.....
