And yet the question still is WHY were they protesting IN the road? Have these people not equated that laws are generally made for a reason, thus the enforcement of them HAS A REASON?! There is a law against it. They broke that law. There is a law against it. That law wasn't enforced. If either of those had been followed 2 people wouldn't be in the hospital and another in jail. Getting really sick of the lack of common sense.

I thought the same thing. A federal highway being blocked, and locals leaving ita so should raise some real local liability. If locals refuse to enforce it, CLOSE all federal highways in the area.

So they could stop motorists and make them fearful for their safety, incite a confrontation and get publicity. And please stop referring to it as a protest. By definition It is terrorism.
