The Chief of the Washington State police said their actions were unlawful.

Well, then. END IT.
Why are the police acting like they are powerless to do anything? It is unlawful to protest on a damn interstate. Go make some arrests.
Jeez. It ain't that hard.

You are full of shite, doubtful they gonna give them a permit to march on a freeway and then at night. And it looks like from the pics they tried to block part of it off with their own vehicles.
My momma told me at 5 years old not to play in the streets or get run over.

I’m surprised those that were hit aren’t dead.
I don’t think the driver intentionally hit them. I think he wanted to get down the road, drove aggressively, then was like “oh shite there are people here on the road.” He swerved then stopped and turned on his hazard lights after launching the Commies. Not really indicative of someone intentionally wanting to run over people.
People need to stay off the highways. It’s stupid and not safe.

Have you considered NOT killing someone with your car? It doesn't take much empathy to use your brakes instead of smashing into human beings and probably killing them. All of you internet tough guys talk a big game. I hope you're not as stupid as you're acting and wouldn't smash into people with your car for protesting in a place that's inconvenient for you. If you are that stupid, then I hope you never get put into that situation. But if you are, I hope the jury unanimously convicts you so you can spend the rest of your miserable life in jail.
Have you considered he didn’t see people. It was dark. He was going at full highway speed and they had two vans blocking both lanes of traffic at a stop. The people were on the opposite side of the van.He swerved around the van and played bumper pool with the idiots. He prob never saw them until they were bugs on his windshield.

Ummm, yes. You’ll see it in every city in America. The cops know the protest route if it’s a march. They block off all intersections, the march is going to cross, put up detour signs and direct traffic as to not interfere or come into contact with the protest for the safety of the protestors and the drivers. If that route includes an interstate, the cops block off the interstate.
Nope. The police has been letting people get on interstates and block traffic bc their Pussy arse mayors forced them to not fight back against the unlawful actions.

There seems to be outrage that the police are considering charging the driver - despite the fact that the driver clearly went past a police roadblock onto a closed thoroughfare - and also appeared to look to swerve TO HIT people rather than avoid them.
Did we watch the same video? He slams on his breaks and is fishtailing when coming around the van blocking the road if he goes right he hits like 10 people straight he hits a few and left he hits two.

Cops have zero authority to block an interstate for non emergency reasons. The interstate system is part of our national defense system and is not under local control.

So that justifies trying to kill people on it if the cops do block it? Citizen’s arrest, I presume?

My empathy is over. They are adults who made a choice and created the conditions for this situation to happen. So...

100%. Those people don’t care about anybody else but their own selfish fricking needs. frick them all. They have no damn right to protest on the interstate and they have no right to impede good citizens living their day-to-day lives. Protests weren’t meant to shut down interstate and if we had good leadership in Western Washington they would have been arrested weeks ago before it came to this. Sick and tired of these damn people. They want to mess up everybody else’s life and then whine when their life goes a little bit wrong. frick em die slow
