So much has changed in a few days. Now those Europeans want to get their piece of the fight.

Just leaving classified briefing on Ukraine crisis. A few takeaways that I can share:

1/ Confirmation that the Russians have fallen behind their timeline. Ukrainian resistance has been fierce and there have been multiple Russian equipment and logistics failures.

4/ The U.S. and allies are coordinating to not only freeze the assets of Putin and his oligarch allies, but to seize those assets as well. This is likely a further step than Putin’s inner circle anticipated.

Belarus wanting to jump into the fray probably has something to do with it

Do you think that's it, or do you think maybe they're looking to stir the shite because they want the fight to take place now - while the US shoulders the lion's share of the burden?

If I was running a western European country, I'd rather have this out with Putin today with Biden behind the wheel in the US than 2 or 5 or 10 years down the road when the appetite for such a war by the American population may have made its way to Washington.

Russia's lack of performance has them all feeling bold, I hope they understand that Russia is a far cry from losing and things can get real stupid real fast

Not sure what you are saying unless it's that the US population is not behind this now. Something will have to give soon. If Ukraine does not negotiate a halt to hostilities (capitulate) the Russians will try to destroy them. I'm having trouble believing the world will sit by to the side if that is the case. But I don't think the US jumps in. Don't know what will happen.

Are you kidding?

Think of the money the Deep State fricks can make off sending us and our kids off to fight the evil Russian Empire!

Think of the profits!

The thing I have found interesting with this is the EU countries are much more at the forefront on this than the US. We're actually hanging back and letting them take the lead.

This is was reinforced when I saw a map of the countries that have banned Russia flights was posted and the US was conspicuously not among them.

Our "aid" package is not overwhelming either.

Enter NATO what?

Honestly.WTF is wrong with you? Are you
this desperate for attention on a message board where you don't get paid for clicks?

Do you actually think Ukraine will somehow retroactively get admitted to NATO?

Just stop and get a life.

But US continues to buy Russian oil....wtf?

Sanctions are a joke. This is a fasttrack to green energy. This is on purpose.

The libs/socialists/communists want us to be energy dependent and go mostly green despite plastics, tires, roads etc....

If the Ukraine joins the EU, NATO countries become involved. The pieces are pretty easy to connect here.

Some people post as if it changes policy.

They may get turned down, but if they do it will give Putin a small green light.

They're misreading the tea leaves

I hope Ukraine bleeds Russia dry but I don't think Russia is nearly as weak and incompetent as They appear to be
