As I said in prior posts, these models are all based primarily on the early cases - the least healthy among us, not the total population. They have been accurate so far on deaths because they have a 2.5 week lag built in. They will be way over forecasted deaths in the next week and everyone will cheer - it won't be for any real reason other than the model's fallacious forecast based only on early data!

LATEST NUMBERS: Govt. Models Overestimated Hospitalizations by 8 Times; ICU Beds by 6.4 Times; Ventilators Needed by 40.5 Times

Models...

Then the media amplified the overstated models even more

What I find interesting is that hospital, ICU admissions and vent use is much lower than the mortality as far as the model. Indicates to me they are over coding covid 19 deaths. How many reasonably healthy patients die as outpatients? Most are probably from nursing homes with DNRs I would suspect.

I’ve read some stories of people trying to ride it out at home and dying in their sleep. Granted those are far and few between but they are there. I do agree that the COVID death numbers are inflated though.

Coronavirus computer models = climate models. I think you’re on to something.

Those vent numbers are way off in the story. We probably have at least 75 people in Missouri vented alone. And our case numbers are only 2k-ish.

But it’s gonna kill millions of people. And this rate would only take 25 years to get there!

In fairness, they are compiling actual reported data for their numbers while you’re using phrases like “probably” and “ish”

GP is using the Worldometer stuff for hospitalizations, ICU and vents. Those numbers are all garbage.

He’s using garbage data. He should stick to stuff he knows. Then he would know he’s using garbage data.

Any article that has that same picture of an Italian hospital will automatically be suspect to me.

Having said that...I believe the models have been wrong all along.

Yeah, that number doesn't include counts from NJ, NY, LA, and about 40 other states. Its Gateway Pundit. They know the numbers are bs yet they wrote a story using them anyway.

I mean, I read where the data comes from and it seemed legit to me.

What would be a better place to get data?

Eh. He’s a moron. But I don’t think he knows enough to know that he’s looking at garbage data. He went to the Worldometer site, pulled the data and “Eureka!!”
