This is such horseshite that a three letter agency can whimsically decide how they want to infringe on a clear cut constitutional amendment.

ATF is not a law making/passing entity and should be 100% defunded, removed and the govt have class action lawsuits opened up for their abuse.

You do realize that an attempt to pass or enforce a gun law gives the citizen the right to kill the person enforcing the law right?

There should be ZERO laws pertaining to the possession of any rifle, shotgun or pistol (which are the muskets of today)

In reality pretty much all of the Federal agencies have outrun their rulemaking ability that might have been authorized by congress at some point and have been operating outside the lines for a very long time...

We effectively have bureaucrats running this country, making the rules they want how they want...

Sorry but if someone I don’t know is asking me for my firearms, they’ll find out, instead of me acting like it’s lost. At that point it’s time to choot

Someone needs to introduce the ATF to the 2nd Amendment. "Shall not be infringed" is about as concrete as it gets.

Meanwhile, illegally owned handguns are taking out multitudes every single day without comment.

It's not hard to see why the federal government goes after the specific things they do.

Report it. Fill out the paperwork.

And I love this part

quote:

Even if a firearm passes the checks listed in "Worksheet 4999" ATF reserves unto itself the unbridled discretion to override the results of the worksheet at any time and for any reason, creating a system where no person or company could possibly rely on anything the agency says.

Link? Please expound because they only have one mechanism to “check” a residence. and that’s called a search warrant based on fruits of a crime being located there. Anything else is a “knock & talk” attempt to which they should be told to get the F off the property.

Under what act of congress was the ATF delegated this authority? Such a ruling should immediately be challenged under the same logic as West Virginia vs EPA.

The gun issue should be even more clear cut than that. Shall not be infringed !
