You think I'm a waiter that has a gay friend who studies ice cores. There's literally nothing about that sentence that's even close to true.

When the KKK was founded by democrats?

you do realize that the platforms from the era of the 1860's, when the KKK was founded, Democratic Party and today's Democratic Party are pretty much exactly flipped, right?

you should read up on William Jenning Bryan and how was pretty instrumental in the Republican and Democratic Parties basically trading platfoms...

so to spell it out for you the Dems of 1860 would be like your Republican Party of today, and the same is true on the other side.... your 1860's Republican would be more of your regular Democrat of today.... trying to pin the formation of the KKK on the Democratic Party, while being ignorant of this fact does little to bolster your argument....

This is how it went.Scream racist, Nazi, etc. all you like, they had a permit to demonstrate, and a legal right to be there. They were also entitled to police protection.

The Democrat Clintonista governor, the mayor and vice mayor took a page right out of Rahm Emanuel 101, creating a crisis where there should have been none. The counterdemonstrators should have been kept clear of the legal gathering. I doubt seriously had that simple step been taken that ANY violence occurs at all. No rioting. No arson. No attacking citizens

But no. The powers that be blew this up into a war. They WANTED ANTIFA to come in and practically asked for this to happen. If they had any intel at all they had to know this was going to take place.

We know now that the Left is gathering for another confrontation at Berkeley later in the month. I know what they are going to do, you do and everyone else does. Until they are stopped these kinds of incidents will happen, more serious and more frequent and the blood is on the Democrat hands.

No one then was like the Democrat Party of today. They were nowhere near as far left. The Democrats of then did have one thing in common with now. Extremism. The Klan then and ANTIFA now were violent and willing to do whatever they had to to promote their agendas.

Democrats. The party of violence , lawlessness corruption and yes evil.

the ONLY thing i was commenting on was the historicity and inaccuracy of the Democrats and the KKK...

The Democratic platform in the 1860 Presidential election:

1. Citizens should be able to freely settle in Government Territories prior to statehood

2. Territories should be able to become states whether they have slavery in their Constitution or not

3. The federal government should protect the rights and property of citizens equally, whether their state permits slavery or not

4. To purchase Cuba from Spain

5. Free states enacting measures against Fugitive Slave laws are unconstitutional and revolutionary

6. The federal government should protect a citizen's natural rights at home and abroad

7. Build a railroad from the Mississippi river to the Pacific Ocean

Which of these is most similar to today's Republican Party?

Its clear that anything they disagree with, they will violently attack. That will drive more people to, dare I say it, resist them. The solution at this point is to name them as terrorist amd any and all activity by them will be under federal jurisdiction. In turn, if the kkk starts attacking, do the same to them.

Very true, however the leftists loons have been much more active in civil unrest than any of the idiot White Nationalist racists over the past 2-3 years.

you still aren't understanding... what i was saying is that i'm NOT expressing ANY opinion.... my post was NOT to express an opinion, but ONLY to offer context into the Democrats/KKK claim....

money and/or politics... same reasoning that Trump will not use specific language about the attack.... and i'm not trying to call him out on it, that's been done enough already, merely saying the situation is the same...

i do feel that Trump did a good thing, regardless of the "specifics" he used in his speech, and he is exactly right on one thing... the US needs to learn how to come together, with the quickness, because this "i'll see your crazy, and raise you..." bullshite that BOTH sides keep trying to play is going to end up being our demise....

here you are, 2017, crying about how klan members and nazis can't just walk the streets without a community protesting them. oh, and blaming the protesters for a maniac alt-right moron ramming his car into a crowd. they shouldn't have been there brah!

It wasnt jusr community it was Antifa. Why are you defending a terrorist organization that is deploying brown shirt tactics all across this country.

A group that has cost 2 lives in portland, one in tampa, is directly responsible for billions of property damage, and praised the assassination attempt on gop congressmen?

Why are you defending a group who out right states they are there to hurt people they disagree with?
