I'm not an expert on this portion of the case, but wasn't he given opportunities to return the documents prior to the indictment?
IIRC the Trump team was negotiating/arranging for the documents to be returned to the National Archives in compliance with the May 2022 subpoena for the documents to be returned. The FBI used security camera footage as well as "significant number of civilian witnesses" to get a search warrant. So Trump was given a chance to return the documents but the FBI also jumped the gun because the deadline to return the documents had not been reached.

Additionally - the FBI has visited MAL multiple times, confirmed SCIF security, made some recommendations on additional locks on certain doors which were implemented, etc, AND STILL pulled that horse shite in Aug 2022.

at some point you have to accept that calling something a conspiracy theory is just a way to downplay and deflect what could very well be a strategy
it is weird to me that you dont seem to be willing to accept that career bureaucrats motivated by an agenda and armed with absolute knowledge of all of the intricacies and inefficiencies of the Federal Government could work in concert with political operatives empowered by institutions of the same Federal Government to concoct a process crime to ensnare an individual in a dubious legal situation.

this isnt directed just at you SFP but a more general point:
what I also find weird is the contrarians on the board that demand a "link" to an acceptable bearer of information from the MSM to answer their contrarian points and arguments. It is practically impossible to find MSM links to build an argument when the original premise we are discussing is supported by the MSM itself. So we find info from third party sources and these are dismissed as merely click bait content creators telling half truths
