“I wish we would have gotten to 100 percent but out of our 67,000 US employees, there are 232 who haven’t been vaccinated and they are going through the termination process now,” Kirby said of the Chicago-based airline. United was one of the first major US companies to announce a vaccine mandate, giving employees a deadline of late September to get jabbed.

quote:

“I tried not to argue with them about it,” he told CBS. “We’re not going to win the arguments on this with people. And I respect that you have a different opinion but you now have a decision to make about whether you want to get vaccinated and stay at United or not.”

quote:

“Because this is in the rear-view mirror for us, we don’t have to be as focused on what does this really mean in the short term because we already got everybody vaccinated,” he said. “My responsibility is to try to do the right thing for United Airlines and what I think is safe.”

Still in limbo are the more than 2000 employees who are contending religious exemptions.

frick him and any other leader pushing for Vax. It does 0 for the safety of your employees.

Those who want it, get it. Those that don’t, sont. Your Vax will protect you the EXACT same against those with or without the vaccine carrying the virus.

I avoid it as much as possible but unfortunately, some of my obligations require a trip OCONUS from time to time and I am not riding a boat for that long of a period... I am in the process of whittling those obligations down though...

I fly United first week of November....wonder how that will go?

This administration is useless! Problems abound, and they do NOTHING, except let Psaki lie to the public.

Let's say these folks get their religious exemptions, and I hope they do, what about atheists and agnostics who don't want the jab? Won't they be able to claim they're being discriminated against for not being religious?

So, did United employees get a special vaccine that actually prevents infection and transmission?
