y scary scene. The virus doesn’t scare me. The “quarantine” doesn’t scare me. Seeing people with weapons in their hands and completely clueless on what they are doing. That scares me. People that have never owned guns buying AR platforms. Yikes.
Just like people buying high speed boats that have zero maritime skills

I've been alive woe these many 70 and some years and the next person I hear about being shot in a gun store by a real customer will be the first. Worry about a nut running a light or an old gal pulling out in front of you on the way there and back but I'll go on the record saying you won't be killed by a gun store consumer @ point of purchase.

Well obviously. Because they don’t even know how to load the damn thing they are buying. It’s in 2 weeks when they think they are John Wick and are put in a pressured situation. Fear is not a factor that should drive any of this.

From the looks of this chat it’s obviously growing exponentially.

After seeing your posts, it's up by at least one.

I didn't even say I owned a firearm.

You’ve put your finger on what is probably the essence of the gun issue. We often hear arguments on behalf of responsible gun owners, and I get it. My concern is that the general population, as a whole, is not necessarily informed
or well-trained. ( or well-intentioned).

Right. The notion that proper, or even just decent, gun safety and handling is this mystical thing and unless you were taught it by your paw paw from the time you could walk, you will be a terrible danger to society if you even think of getting ahold of a gun, is silly.
Nobody wants to unintentionally hurt anyone or themselves, and there’s more readily available information out there about every firearm, such that it’s way far down the list of concerns at this point.
As I said, it’s probably quite good right now if everyone is operating under the notion that everyone else is armed.

Your cell phone. Hand it over.

When a guy that’s never operated a gun, takes his brand new shiny weapon and flags the whole damn store while clueless. That’s the point. They will, when pressured make a horrible decision. Where is this sense of urgency to be pro 2A and protecting yourself and family during normal times? This whole post is to say keep your head on a swivel. We probably have more of an armed society than ever which is fine. Just be smart.

Your cellphone. It’s a deadly weapon. Hand it over.

Guess what. It’s the same guy doing both. I didn’t ask for his guns to be corralled. Maybe you are having trouble reading. I said be aware and keep your head on a swivel. Do I need to break down those two statements for you to understand better?

I’m mocking you. You realize this, no?
Well, I started out mocking vorbot bc vorbot is easy to mock. I simply continued on to mocking you. But I’ll continue with you since you got your jimmys up in a bunch.
