Unfortunately, a woman will probably be the next hostage to be slowly beheaded

ISIS is going to make that execution particularly gruesome. And she will more than likely be freaking out on camera (rightfully so) which will make the video extraordinarily awful when compared to the horror of the previous beheadings.

On a side note, what would your reaction be if a rebel Christian group suddenly began to exact the same type of terror upon ISIS extremists that ISIS has inflicted upon thousands of innocent people?

My response is the same as it was to Daniel Pearl, the fellow from last week, Steven S. and all poor souls in similar situations:

The way to avoid this is to not go to parts of the world where it is likely to happen.

They weren't out there on vacation. Without people like them, we wouldn't know what was going on in the world. They do us all a service.

They were caught in Syria, not Iraq. I've been to Iraq twice this year, no big deal up there really.

They get paid and assume the risks. I understand their passion for what they do but they are no public servants engaged in some sort of great crusade.

To the OP, my reaction will be the same... Sick to my stomach and enraged. They need to be eliminated, period.

It will take generations and lots of changes for these types of things to change if at all.

I was stating that I want the ISIS guys dead for the shite they do. How this happens is an ongoing debate.

Messala from Ben-Hur said it best.

"You ask how you fight an idea. With another idea."

I don't think it would register w/ISIS followers IMO. They are busy telling themselves that Americans hate Muslims and we're occupiers so they'd write it off as cost of war.

When they are gone, some other group will take their place.

This happens to females south of the border more than people realise. On our continent.

Be it for drugs, money, religion, territory, betrayl, etc Evil seems to find a way. Except now with the availability of cameras and quick release media, it's more theatric.

What about when that problem on the other side of the world begins to move here? Ideas are not stopped by oceans and borders

Right.
That's the solution, just put off redress until those parts of the world come to you.

Considering those savages have likely been raping the shite out of her the whole time, it would probably be a blessing.
