I would be very surprised if they beheaded a woman on video. There would be a big negative reaction among Muslims.

Jihad is justified in the Koran to defend the faith against those who attack it (think a weird equating of western influence = military invasion). But women are not part of the other side's military and so beheading is only OK against the men.

Now Muslims have no problem with slapping their women around and killing them if they commit adultery. But trying to sell the idea of a western female journalist getting beheaded as punishment for adultery is not gonna fly.
