Are verified, unmanipulated, IQ tests given to these visa requests?
If not then they should be. If it's truly for the "best of the best" the 130+ needs to be the minimum for these foreign visas, even student visas.

How many times on this board have I seen a post like "anyone know the cost to get a 20x20 shed built?"
Almost every single answer is "go to the Home Depot parking lot in the morning and find a crew of illegals."
It's th3 same fricking thing.

Adams trying to save face. He was one of the sparks of this recent uproar when he called out maga Republicans, for stepping on their own pricks, by retweeting some Indian chick saying it looks like the Dems are the party for Indians. Musk responds positively to his comment, and starts getting attacked. Eventually leading up to him melting.
Well turns out that Indian chick has years of anti-MAGA/Trump tweets, so her stance wasn't genuine to some kind of change of hers.
Adams looked like a fool and burnt up lots of favor.

Everyone on this board has no damn issue with hiring a crew of illegals to do your landscaping. Why? Because they're cheaper than American labor and they "work harder".
Speak for yourself. I am not willing to hire them and do my own damn yard work thank you. Not everyone is you, so stop generalizing.

Most people love that they can buy their fruit and vegetables cheaper, their plastic bullshite goods cheaper, etc. Everyone shops at Walmart or Amazon instead of your local American owned stores and small producers.
There is a difference here especially when the agricultural industry is subsidized to death and yet they subsidize everything except the workers.
I again would be fine paying more for food if it ensures good paying jobs for Americans. Illegals allow not just less pay but worse working conditions
Plain and simple, it is cheating by those companies.

The masses are participating in the same outsourcing of labor that the corporations do. You just don't care unless it's your livelihood that's in jeopardy.
Ummm. Continue generalizing because that lets you justify a system you likely abuse yourself.

No. Nor should it. IQ tests are a horrible measure of someone’s potential. Now, they should be better and held to a high standard on their skillset and potential.
The point of most H1-B visas is generally very highly educated and specialized individuals PhD’s, MDs, Masters in areas either underrepresented in the country or in areas the country/company is trying to move forward.
It was not mean for nor should it be used for a base computer scientist. Period.
