The non-corporate farming family is screwed if this happens.

Seriously, why on God’s green earth does the government fee entitled to half of someone’s shite once they die?

Why would anything change just because someone dies? The government that we the people voted in believes they are entitled to everyfrickingthing they want.

That said, if there was a $25 million threshold, I'd be all for this as a political matter.

Uncle Joe's New Death Tax
An America where your kids can't afford to keep your money: Middle income families' disgust with Biden's 'twisted' 'death tax' that would force many to part with their inheritance to pay the bill
Yet Uncle Joe's New Death Tax Will Not Touch Bill Gates or Warren Buffett.

Right.
But the concept the kids of Joe Blow get zinged while a POS like Buffett (bitching about low taxes) would be allowed to transfer 100% of his assets overseas, TAXFREE, upon his death is obscene.

Not sure what you're laughing at. It's not like there isn't IRS data recently published that shows very clearly what the wealthiest Americans have paid into the federal government the last 10-15 years.

Ok, so create a corp to own the property.

That would change nothing.

Irrelevant. COMPLETELY irrelevant! We set up a living trust for our kids. It is not done for Tax Protection. The Gates Foundation is not a Living Trust. It is a mechanism to offshore billions and billions of dollars under control of contributors' kids and avoid 100% of US taxes.

Is the gates foundation an offshore entity? I honestly don’t know. Usually private foundations require 5 percent of assets to be donated to a charity annually. Yes, family members can be a trustee or on the board if it’s a corporation and they can receive compensation, but all monies must eventually be used for charitable purposes.

So you are ok with wealth redistribution and excessive taxation? What if everyone else says $5 million is ok? What about $10 million? 15? Who gets to decide the arbitrary line where the .gov gets to come in and take nearly half of what you (our your relative) worked your (or their) entire life to build?

The death or estate tax is wrong, I don’t care if it’s $300 million or 3 million.

You're completely disregarding the end of the statement you posted of mine.

Hope those progressive rich kids who were waiting in their inheritance and voted for Biden because Trump was so mean and evil regret their decision.

Funny how they believe socialism won't end up fricking THEM every single time. Communism's cycle of universal poverty wins every time, unless you're 1% of the 1% of the 1%.

There’s nothing more abhorrent to me than Income Taxes and the Death Tax. Both should be eliminated.

More abhorrent than permanent rule by the assholes pulling Biden's strings today, and all that would come with that over time?

You honestly don’t know. I get it. I do.

Now, translate that to a $250 BILLION charity, completely off-shored, after year one.
