The current death rate in 2020 is following the same pattern of growth in death rates of the last decade. Basically for every 1000 Americans, there are 8 to 9 people passing away each year.

All those numbers are projections.

The CDC just released in January their mortality report for 2018. Not 2019. 2018.

Elaborate on this please. In what way are hospitals reimbursed more if we classify a death a particular way since we are reimbursed for services not outcomes. Who is doing the paying and what is the differential on a COVID death as opposed to, say multi-organ failure from another infection?
