Minneapolis used to be such a nice low crime city. An old neighbor moved there from NYC 35 to 40 years ago and it drove him crazy that people didn't lock their doors.

It's just the stupidity of people.
Defund the police was moronic.
But what is causing the spoke in crime is police are not able to police.
When police do their jobs they interact with criminals increasing the likelihood of having an altercation because people don't want to go to jail.
That has the potential to spiral out of control.
So no one actually polices.

Use to have a summer home there when my son lived there. At one time it was a nice area to raise kids. Problems is the liberals rolled out the red carpet for the thugs and are still too stupid to see that.
