My wife and I started that Dave Ramsey plan over a decade ago and it’s done wonders for us. We had to tighten up the belt a good bit through the years but it’s paid off. Most of it’s common sense; it’s really worked for us.

3 months of no mortgage has me conflicted, we can pay it so why wait 3 months. Then again we have things we could spend that money on to infuse the economy
at a minimum, interest will be waived

student loan payments will be put on hold as well

would be a good time to get ahead on your mortgage and student loans by doubling down on payments, 100% going to principal

OR, use that cash to start averaging in to equities while they are discounted

there are great opportunities for people that are prepared and financially stable

don't forget to turn off your auto pay

Forget that, that's 3 months of 100% principal payments.

this is likely to be true, a good chance to get ahead

If the gov didn’t rob tax payers blind, more people would have 6 months in savings.

You give the general population too much credit... Most people spend what they make and if you give them more, they spend that as well...

Because just because you wish to do this does not mean everyone around you wants to do the same thing, your freedom to choose does not extend that far, if it did all this would be a moot point.

Government loves letting business know how much control they wield. Very helpful later, When politicians come around soliciting for donations.

I won't be stopping my payments. You morons can accrue mortgage interest with no payments if you want.
