Fair enough, but a story from 3 decades ago about trump stopping a mugging had multiple conflicting stories from eye witnesses so snopes labeled it unproven and some of this board had a serious issue with that. If something like that makes snopes “liberal” then my suspicions are true that y’all just want to complain and play the victim card due to reality having a slight liberal bias.

People on the board have an issue with it because Snopes has a pretty easy to follow track record that anyone being honest can see.
Alas, since their track record leans liberal, all the liberals love it and act like they're the fricking Gold standard.
And by track record I mean, they seem to have a GREAT DEAL more credulity when examining one side's stories than the other. (or, in some cases, simply don't address them at all LOL)

Bottom line.
If it came out after a decade of operation that Snopes was run by a couple from a conservative Church in South Alabama, their site would already be dead in terms of anyone calling them a "fact checking" site.

I think you’re avoiding my point a bit. If there’s anything more than “unproven” to a story with multiple conflicting eye witnesses then I’m all ears, but I would have to agree completely. And that was because they had a “liberal” agenda. I don’t find that to be liberal, I find it reality.

I'm talking about Snopes in general, you're wanting to make it about one story.
I never said shite at ANY time on this board about Snopes on that one story.
