Or you could have bought a generator and a kerosene heater at any time in the last several years.
Biden says we don't need gas or kerosene. You want me to do what the fossil says right?

Thanks for playing.

Pretty much this.
It wasn’t like this was a snap storm with no warning either. I think the tea leaves had been out there for at least a week or two beforehand on how this was supposed to be bad, albeit not quite to this extent.
Maybe it is the “oh frick, hurricane’s coming!” mindset from living in south LA but I don’t have a lot of sympathy for people who hear a weather event is coming and do nothing to prepare for it.

Yeah, the real problem is those that didn't have a plan for 48+ hours of no electricity and water and shutdown freeways with sub-20 degrees weather. Those idiots.

I can get some food and some water. But procuring electricity is harder. Them damn electrons is fast suckers.

I live in an apartment building. Is this a recourse for me?

Dense population in and apartment complex. Could always eat the neighbors.

I’m sorry but that’s fricked up.
He said she was fired for "defending him" so it's certainly possible she echoed some of his sentiments or did/said something to deserve a firing. Again, I don't know if that's the case, just saying that is in play here based on the mayor's words himself, she was not fired solely because of his comments.

This is just a reminder that the government won't be there for you when the shite hits the fan. The government can't do and be all things. Never has never will. But they want to take care of us all from womb to tomb.

That's a political suicide note.

People are freezing in their own homes & dying in Texas due to the ridiculous “green energy” agenda of the left and the left is SILENT while Biden plays Nintendo (also who selects Luigi in Mario Kart anyway?)
100% true though.

The only thing offensive about his posts is the spelling. Jesus Christ, you're an elected official.

First post is frick'n ALPHA.
Second post reads like he couldn't handle the heat.
He shouldn't have resigned and his ole lady shouldn't have lost her job.
Truth hurts.

He has a point. Liberals are always looking for a handout.

No one owes you [or] your family anything,” Tim Boyd wrote on Tuesday in a now-deleted Facebook post, according to KTXS and KTAB/KRBC. “I’m sick and tired of people looking for a damn handout!”
Boyd confirming what we already knew, government is useless.
Maybe people are looking for handouts because they have been promised handouts in exchange for their votes.

And the mayor is an idiot.
