Deep State SDNY doing work?

Berman contributed to Trump's campaign, worked on his transition, worked for Guiliani's former law firm, was appointed to his current post by the Trump admin, and appears to have the blessing of Barr.

So when you say "deep state SDNY doing work," it sorta seems like you haven't stopped to think about anything

I said before that this could easily involve legit bipartisan crimes, but you guys jump to conspiracy before even digesting basic information.

Cahoots, this isn’t why we are upset. These indictments are going to allow the left to gaslight America into thinking the illegal acts are about Ukraine and illegal trump behavior, while in reality they involve 2018 straw campaign donations to various us pols.

The timing is unfortunate. That’s all

Maybe I am missing this in the indictment, but I see nowhere where this has to do with Giuliani’s activity in the Ukraine

It looks like it involves straw campaign donations for the midterms last year.
Giuliani just happened to headline fundraisers for the Congressman-1 in the indictment, Pete Sessions, during those 2018 midterms. Defendants donated to said Congressman-1 and contacted him about trying to oust US Ambassador to the Ukraine, Yovanovich.

Which means the timing absolutely stinks
Yup

Why wait until the Ukraine stuff is in news to unseal these charges?
You know why, because the timing stinks for Trump. This shite is bonkers

You are glossing over that these guys were acting in the interests of ukrainian govt officials per the indictment. One of them was set to testify to congress tomorrow before the indictment came down. You really think the issues at play are entirely segregated and merely coincidentally involve the same people?

Yes, but the charges themselves are about donations, not contact or lobbying.

It’s not illegal to try to persuade a congressman to do something

Barr was in NY yesterday to meet with SDNY? There might be something bigger going on here?

You're missing the point of these arrests. It was never about campaign violations.

Which wasn’t illegal.

They weren’t CHARGED for that.

this is likely at least partially true. these nice gents were served house subpoenas, attempting to understand more about their relationship with pinky ring and connections to the ukraine. they were served at the same time as rudy g. they responded by stating they couldn't comply and purchasing tickets out of town.

so, to your point, it seems reasonable to assume that the feds will now try and flip these guys to turn states witness against pinky ring, talk about the larger ukraine stuff, etc.

The white house has become like an episode of the sopranos.

Well, it's sure not the White House that made it that way. That lies 100% at the feet of the dems.

Dude, we've already been over this. They were heading to Disneyland Paris and then to embark on a backpacking trip across the homeland. Last month, they dined with Guiliani at Trump Tower to bid farewell before their journey. They don't know shite. Just two good old boys being conveniently and unfairly targeted by Trump appointees.
