When Elon needs to sell a spare Twitter rim he will have a place to go.

Pretty much every single cent Craigslist makes goes to the DNC

So they maximize it

Well it’s also basically unusable. Because of fraudsters.

Not really fine. They have no system in place to remove fraud. To the point that must sellers are fake and manky lmany scammers use the ads for phishing.

Except one doesn’t have an enormous debt bomb attached to it requiring an annual 1.2 billion in interest payments alone…

And if Craigslist is the model to aspire to for Twitter, Musk should file the bankruptcy paperwork this morning lol

You’ll never convince me that Twitter was better off when it banned everyone that didn’t agree with the current progressive narrative.

It’s like y’all forget how batshit everything went during Covid and how militant social media platforms were against any dissent. It’s better for society that most of the censorship jackboots that worked at Twitter were shown the door.

Why are all the so-called right wing alternatives to Twitter devoid of advertisers and strong paid user bases??? Any thoughts?

If you think that there is any path where Twitter just lets fraudsters, nazi’s and 4chan level shitposters dominate the site like some glorified PoliTard board, and would be better off financially for it, I have some great investment ideas that involve you giving me money…

Like shutting down his new paid blue check system and now tightening up moderation again, Musk is learning the hard way that advertisers aren’t going to put their dollars to work with you to place their products next to child porn, Nazi posts, and someone impersonating their brand and tanking their stock price. And the sort of people that want to pay to be on that site is not going to pay off 1.2 billion in annual interest payments…

One thing is becoming increasingly clear. We will all soon find out if Twitter can coast along without the engineers who built it until they rebuild it.

How many people does Chicken employ to maintain this beautiful cesspool?

I read the child porn account operated under the previous twitter admin without being censored so you’re wrong. They just want to censor anyone who doesn’t agree with democrats

Does Chicken and his staff build and maintain the underlying software and web code his platform operates on?

You all are comparing apples to oranges

Message boards use established software and incredibly user friendly tech stacks that they then host and troubleshoot as they arise. And on a much, much smaller scale(this site has maybe a couple hundred active users a day, Twitter has millions).

Twitter is developing and maintaining the underlying stack, debugging, hosting, moderating, and maintaining it across a number of platforms and internally developed apps across numerous other OS’s across the world.

But there is one thing the comparison evokes, which is that unlike here, Reddit, or any run of the mill phbb board, Twitter is like one giant global message board updating in real time. Like if 100’s of millions of people all posted on the OT. And unlike those other platforms, there is no built in self-moderation pipeline. Which becomes problematic when you also rely on advertisers

There is porn on Twitter. There always has been. But you can’t question elections unless it’s the 2016 election.

You browse child porn accounts? Weird flex, but nice to know pedo

It’s kind of weird but proves the advertisers clearly didn’t care.

There is porn on Twitter, advertisers knowingly advertised on a site with porn.

There is porn and there are conservatives whining about made up voter fraud

Has been since before Musk, what is your point???

That’s not the shite threatening Musk’s much needed revenue base.

He needs advertisers to feel comfortable on the site, and that putting their money there as opposed to literally anywhere else is a good use strategy, right now he’s failing worse than the previous regime
