Im not sure what that’s about but it’s really not comparable.
Ron had much more time to manage Covid. It didn’t even hit Florida until around March of 2020. He started lifting restrictions in late September. Trump was already half-way out of the door by then, and at the time was calling for virtually the same restriction rollbacks.

What about the situation do you dumb fricks not understand? He was told there was an escape of a genetically engineered virus from the Wuhan lab. The director of the CDC/NIH told him shutting down for 2 weeks would stop the spread and allow them to get it under control. What would you have done in that situation? With the information he was presented with, he had NO options. No lockdown would have led to pretty much the same thing as we had with the lockdown, but he would have been killed over not taking the advice of "science".

Doctor Lockdown is a power-hungry tyrant. Always has been. COVID gave him the opportunity to try and dictate the policy of the country. He definitely was enjoying every minute that businesses shut down, schools were closed, and people were out on the streets after being laid off.
He's probably the most evil person in the country today. How anyone can't see that is beyond me.

this mystery virus shows up on the west coast sometime around Nov 2019. We know NOTHING about it but the propaganda coming from China. We took an overly cautious stand early on, like most everyone else on earth did. With respect to Trump, the states had most of the control wrt lockdowns.
It didnt show up in Florida until 5 months of time had elapsed, and DeSantis locked down like everyone else did.
It wasnt until late September that he started lifting restrictions, which is awesome, but Trump was ousted just a few weeks later. Even then, Trump was urging states to open back up.
I just dont see much inconsistency here. Maybe Trump deserves some heat for Warp speed, but even that wasnt much debated at the time.

It was obvious after about a week or two that Flip Flop Fauci was full of shite. It was also obvious that most politicians did not believe it was as serious as they were pimping it out to be, yet Trump continued to give Fauci a platform.

BS. There were papers published in 2014 and 2015 about the creation of a similar bat coronavirus (minus the gene editing in the spike protein). The papers were coauthored by scientists at the Wuhan lab and UNC, Chapel Hill. They are still available at the NIH website. Funding was provided through the NIH. There was no mystery. Fauchi knew exactly what this was.
