I would love to have a handgun at the house, but our house is often crawling with grandkids, and i just think the risk isn’t worth it.
Damn, I never thought about the dangers of having kids around. Was it a bad idea to leave some of my handguns in the grandkid’s toy box?

Wish I still had my old Ruger GP100 .357.

Too much gun. I had a Kimber .357, didn’t really like it. Gifted it to my nephew.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! I'm 57 and grew up with Dirty Harry! I love my 8" .44 Mag.
I agree, it's not an every day carry, but let some tweaked out fricktard wander into my home!
"Do ya feel lucky punk?" Lol
Seriously tho, a .44 Mag is a beast!

It's the worst possible handgun for home defense. How many interior walls is that bullet going to pass through after it exits the chest cavity of your tweaked out fricktard? .45 or .40 vastly reduces that danger and provides more knockdown power. That amped up penetrating power is a negative in far more situations than it's a positive.
