Ok… so the ones who aren’t in jail
Should have their votes matter less?

Look at the story that just went out about Trump secretly asking for Electoral voters to vote for him.

They will use this as the impetus for getting rid of the electoral college because the voters can be corrupted. It must be a majority vote election is their final objective.

It's all fabricated and orchestrated

I draw the line that anything you write on here is b.s. and has no correlation to actual beliefs. You'd cry all day(and I'm sure if I cared I could look it up) that blacks are unequally incarcerated and it's proof of systemic racism. But...correlation doesn't equal causation, right?

Ask your liberal friends 2 questions about abolishing the Electoral College and adopting the Popular Vote method of determining the Presidential elections:

1. What is meant by "Sovereignty of the States"?

2. In the 1960 World Series, the Yankees outscored the Pirates 55-27 (total runs). Who won the 1960 World Series?

Jesus you’re dumb.

When people say that it means you have to prove the correlation.

I woudo Argue we’ve had success as a nation not because the electoral college give disproportionate representation in national elections, but because we are an physically enormous industrialized nation with a huge population and abundant natural resources.

We also have continued to have increased success as a nation as the power Of the Federal government grew.

But y’all don’t want to bring that up.

Wyoming getting 3 EC votes is CLEARLY the cause.

Oh, I know. Unless they are lefty trolls, then they say it because it's convenient, not because they actually believe it.

I understand, but that is their goal. That is why they will scream voters need to get out and put democrats in office.

It was all the argument you deserve. Stop snorkling methane out of your backside if you want people to take your arguments seriously.

Lol, it’s all the argument your peabrain could come up with.

You couldn’t come up with a good argument and now it’s about people “taking me seriously”

You’re a fricking moron.

In their time. The electoral college would have been removed a long time ago if we had any sense. It’s archaic and unnecessary, but it allows people like Trump to win the presidency despite getting fewer votes, so Republicans are all for it. There is not one good argument that it should remain.

Ok, then we would need to standardize voting laws including hard deadlines, no more ballot harvesting or unsolicited mail-in ballots. No pushback on voter roll purges that would happen every 4 years. Go back to paper ballots with complete transparency at all levels. Ban Dropboxes or mandate that each be monitored 24/7 with multiple surveillance cameras. Bipartisan, election integrity committee to oversee election fraud complaints with power to compel all necessary evidence in a timely manner.

In essence, no more cheating. No more last second boxes of ballots found in someone’s truck. No more teams of Dem lawyers dragging out legally mandatory legislative duties.

Then I would, as a Conservative voter, consider abolishing EC. But we know these things would never happen.

But, hypothetically let’s say all of this comes to pass. When it all backfires on Democrats, no take backs. Republican voters in blue states, like California, would actually start to turn out at the polls in force since their votes would now have meaning.
