Braun's argument was essentially: I sacrificed a hand so they wouldn't take the body. But this misses the point that the mob can never be satisfied. They'll take a hand. They'll take both hands. But in the end they'll come after you, anyway. Stop appeasing.

And I am not fully informed about the abuses currently encountered with the way it is now.
Are you opposed to Qualified Immunity in principle?
or just upset about the abuses that occur??
I want good cops to be protected from revengeful lawsuits.
I want bad cops to be identified and fired/prosecuted/sued.
I cannot imagine how eliminating the concept of QI achieves either of those desires.

Nobody ever does. Ask someone who says Black Lives Matter to clarify if they support the statement or the organization. They will defer.
They never do - I have asked this question numerous times and it always terminate rather quickly by accusations that "you are too ignorant" or "you are a racist."

Tucker asked Mike Braun if he would support removing immunity from elected mayors, senators, and representatives that ordered police to stand down, thereby allowing citizens who lost their homes and businesses and were physically attacked to sue the politicians.

QI helps protect police and protecting police is what helps many poor Americans move into the middle class. Police is a public sector job that helps improves families lives. Making cops easier to sue will discourage poor Americans away from the job.
Protecting the institution of the police is not only important for local security but also for economic mobility.
