Tucker is excited that a week’s worth of groceries costs almost two days’ wages? The average Russian has to devote more than a third of their pre-tax wages just for food. Let that sink in.
Why are groceries so cheap there but expensive here? It’s just food.

But it's not, those groceries would have to cost $74 to be equivalent to what an American is paying/avg income. That's a 40% difference, in favor of americans.

I like how Tuck uses the word "filth" to describe what the Globalists have been doing to America for the last 20 years.
It is filth. They are filth.
It is filth. They are filth.

Why is average income the measuring stick? Americans make more so they should pay exuberant prices?

Actually, some of us understand math and the cost of living.
Then you should understand that it’s significantly higher under the person you voted for.

Tucker is embarrassing himself at this point

Because it's logical, a Russian can afford less groceries in their country than an American, because of the available wages to them.
I didn't invent economics.

Damn, I didn't realize so many people don't understand exchange rate and economics. I have to think people aren't this dumb, but just want to believe something that fits a narrative of theirs, so they don't think too hard on it from first principles.
The poli board is full of morons at this point but I think it speaks to a larger phenomenon that is happening in our politics
The left used to be Russia defenders throughout the Cold War, and even after it, downplayed the evils of the USSR. When Hillary and the intelligence community tried to pull off the ridiculous Russia hoax, the Left all of a sudden became Russia hawks and became extremely concerned about Russian aggression, culminating in Ukraine. Entirely in response, much of the dumbest portions of the Republican base became sympathetic to Russia and Putin and even supportive. It's completely pathetic and it shows how owned they are by their masters on the Left... they are too stupid and self unaware to realize it.

Sadly Russia is freer and more prosperous than Weimar America is. But that’s admittedly a low bar

This story is not about Russia. No one wants to move to Russia or live under a Russian type government.
It’s about the US and how out of control our own government has gotten with spending, debt and corruption that it has negatively impacted our own standard of living.
18% inflation.
We should be way better off, it shouldn’t even be close.
