Not dismissing the kernel of the matter, but people need to quit referencing GPAs in any kind of argument. They are inflated everywhere to satisfy Republicans, Democrats, gays, straights, atheists, religious, men, women and Tennessee fans (esp those).

I agree with ya 100% on wanting the old white guy, but with respect to DEI, the Indian and other Asian doctors have to work harder than white applicants and significantly harder than black/Mexican applicants to get into med school. They are on the short end of the stick of DEI.

The USMLE had to invalidate a bunch of scores from IMGs (notably in India) because they were cheating their asses off.
While I do not discredit the hard work and success of all Indians, there has to be some concern for those who studied, trained, and tested outside the borders of the US. There is way, way more to gain from cheating when you're in a destitute country if it means you can move somewhere like the US.
