Sounds like Koh Phi Phi island in the Phillipines. I wonder if the NGOs seized upon some opportunities there following the big tsunami in late 2004.

That’s some Q level strategy if true.

But you would not believe me if I told you that beef contains protein, so let’s just let it go, shall we?

bullshite. You don’t use it. You’ve begun using it in the past year because the press has used it to talk about Trump. GTFO with your nonsense.

I could link you to posts on TexAgs, and you would insist that I am a different poster. I could copy pages from briefs that I have filed in court, and you would insist that I typed them today.
It boils down to the fact that you have mis-identified me as a “lib,” and therefore chosen to discount anything I might say.
Call it a microcosm of today’s American politics and move on.

I have thought for a while that trump does his errors in tweets to cause the media to report on his tweets, unwittingly reporting his message.
He’s certainly capable of the kind of assertion in the OP though. The man releases leaks to the press himself for various ends. Who does that? Who thinks that far ahead?
Of course he makes mistakes like any human being.
There are times though, that I think he might be one of the most intrinsically talented politicians and leaders in history.

Word choice is everything. You choose the words you do to for a reason.
Did you run a search on this forum and confirm my DOZENS of statements that the “collusion” allegations are utter nonsense? If not, you are talking out of your arse.
If so, however, you have confirmed that I do NOT think Trump is some sort of Russian mole. If that is the case, why the heck would I try to subtly tie him to Russia by using a Russian loanword?
There is no logic in your position, unless I have spent the last year denying “collusion” as an issue ... with the secret intent of using the word “maskirovka” one Sunday morning in the late Summer of 2018.
Multi-dimensional chess indeed.

Maybe the Zrussian term is apropos and amusing usage

I honestly thought initially that he was a dummkopf (oops, loanword), but I have come to a far more cynical conclusion.
Trump is utterly convinced that the lügenpresse (oops, loanword) opposes him. In many cases he is correct. He DOES use Twitter to get his “unfiltered” message to “the people,” but he could do that without the melodrama (oops, loanword). He could use staff to compose a precis (oops) tweet with a link to a longer, coherent addendum (oops) explaining his positions. As a wonk, I would like that. Even though I dislike him personally, I would subscribe to his feed for the policy-fix.
But not everyone is a wonk, and most of his non-believers would not subscribe to his feed. He needs “help” getting his words to those folks. The press would likely NOT keep his tweets on page one, if they were a policy wonk’s dream. But they DO keep them on page one when he is ourageous. Voila! (oops, another loanword). His opponents are reading his tweets, with the help of his perceived enemies. He probably feels a certain schadenfreude (oops) at that thought.
The American populace is largely a collection of imbeciles, and imbeciles THRIVE on “outrageous.” The press knows this, and “outrageous” hits page one ... every time.
I am confident that “covfefe” is an example of this phenomenon. I am undecided about the grammar and spelling.

Except deception works just as well and would be understood by 100% of your perceived audience.
Precision doesn’t matter when the vast majority of your audience has to stop and look up a word. If you want to be precisise, you pick terminology that you know your audience will understand, that way you don’t lose them and keep them engaged the whole time.
So, that means that you chose this word not based on its “precision” because if you’re trying to be precise, you use terminology that doesn’t need to be expanded on and is easily understood.
So, you chose this word for another reason. And it’s entirely possible that I misinterpreted this reason in thinking it’s you trying to tie it to Russia. You very well could have chose it simply to try to seem more knowledgeable on the subject by using a very niche word that very few people know, thus giving you a false sense of higher understanding.
Who knows. Maybe I just tore a page out of the old propane hank book and am just being a contrarian for contrarians sake

I have a large vocabulary. Sometimes I forget that others do not. Sue me.
I was in court on a custody case re a ten-year-old girl. I represented the mom, who had custody. Dad was trying to change that. Opposing lawyer had my client on cross exam, and was questioning pretty much everything about her parenting style.
He started a line of questioning about the fact that Mom was taking daighter to the country and teaching her to shoot a .22 rifle. Finally, he asked “Why would a girl need to know how to fire a rifle?”
I stood up, looked up at the (female) judge and said “I am not sure of the correct legal objection here, but can I object to misogyny?” The judge hid a smile as the other lawyer said “Judge, I don’t know what that word means.”
The judge winked at me and waived for me to explain. “Simply put, chauvinism.” My client won.

I like to think I do too, but I mean shite dude. You can’t say you’re using precise language when the vast majority of your listeners don’t know wtf the word you use means.

There are exactly two usages of “maskirovska” on Texags. Both are by a user K2HMFIC. Both refer to Trump. Both are within the last 18 months.
It’s not a normal word in your vocabulary. You read someone else using it and thought you’d sound smart using it yourself. You don’t.

I have not been active on TexAgs for a few years, and I did not realize that the search was limited to 18 months. (Still better than the couple of weeks here). I am not K2, though he is a poster who would be familiar with the term. He is a veteran.
Look, I am firm in the belief that you are a low-grade moron, so you can feel free to think the same of me, OK?

Well, the difference is that TexAgs has a much larger percentage of folks with a military background, so this entire ridiculous tinfoil discussion would not have taken place there. You will note that no one on K2’s thread seemed confused by the term.
