Yep. He needs to decide if he wants to be POTUS or King Troll. It's hard to do the former when the trolling is taking the place of legitimate policy discussions. The people who find his shenanigans funny are already going to vote for him. The ones that don't will intentionally peel their asses off of the sofa to go cast a vote against him when they might have just stayed home. His trolling won't win him a single vote, but will cost him plenty.
