Well RDS is no different than a Mitt Romney Globalist. I don’t see the big harm in Trump calling it like it is.

Yep, these people are full of shite.
I have a house on Perdido Key, just a few minutes from Alabama. We went to Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Foley often. No issues.
Other counties may not have been as fortunate, but thanks to DeSantis, Escambia was minimally impacted.

Yeah we did close down the beaches for a couple of weeks but I do also know I had mother's day lunch sitting in a restaurant (Seasons 52) in May of 2020
Who cares that testing was readily available and free and fast .. That was good leadership.. That set a lot of peoples mind at ease and they got back to normalcy. Coworkers up north spent over a year ordering from food trucks because restaurants were closed... I was back in in 5..6 weeks?
What a small dick statement by DJT

Are y'all that fricking stupid that you really believed Ted Cruz's dad was involved in the Kennedy assassination?
I saw lying Ted a bunch. Didn't hear about the assassin stuff.

Do you think Business Insider would be backing a Rand Paul any less than DeSantis?
This is my point. Why not back Rand or Ted or any number of people that are NOT running for president. Why Desantis who has said he's perfectly happy being governor of Florida. Last I checked there was one republican running for president. Donald. The GOP is rallying around someone who is not running for president and viciously so. It's the same with the Desantis group being so fanatical about someone whose not even in the running. You have no dog in the fight but you fight anyway. Y'all are playing fantasy football except with presidential candidates. It's bizarre.

Listen, i'm sick of the retarded conspiracy theories. Look at DeSantis fricking record. Are you seriously trying to claim that DeSantis entire tenure, and turning Florida from Purple to deep red was all just a ploy to become POTUS and become a McConnell?
Stop being stupid.
It's got nothing to do with Desantis currently. Is desantis running? Do you know something I don't? It's not hard to come to some of these conspiracy conclusions. It seems like as of now if he announced he's going to have the entire planet, GOP and media included, behind him. What are you going to do if he doesn't ever announce? All your managed to do so far is create dividing lines and stress yourselves out and create complete enemies out of fellow posters.

I live in the Panhandle so we didn't have any deep blue areas trying to shut stuff down.

Same. Barely noticed a change when that order went out. Talked to a lot of folks coming to the area to get away from their states. DeSantis did it right.

Its been my term when dealing with attorneys who cannot relate to people outside the field, nor understand social issues outside the legal field.
I have found that profession is largely autistic and socially inept when trying to have discussions with people who understand life outside your field.
"Baffling with bullshite" only works on simple people.

I blame Ron. However Trump praised Mike Dunleavy, my governor who was as severe as the progressives at the beginning of Covid, and even endorsed him again in 2022.
Trump is a hypocrite.

Sorry Roger, Globalism is an actual thing. People that push for that are? Globalists.
It's like saying that communists is a cultish term. It's not.

Protectionism is not the opposite of globalism. Isolationism is the opposite.
DJT isn't isolationist, he's globalist.

I hate Ryan, and will be an issue for me should DeSantis allow him access to his inner circle and somehow becomes the GOP nominee. I am merely saying Trump needs to refine his strategy. The strategy of 2016 and 2020 is used up.
Love the fight in Trump, but he needs to refine his messaging. The back alley brawler is not the way to go this round. He can still be a fighter without it.

Trump has got his messaging all fricked up. He's a mercantilist, not a capitalist.
I love mercantilism, but DJT can't even articulate that ideal to the people. This is why there's such a disconnect between Trump and independents
Added definition for economic neophytes.

I vacationed in FL three times during the height of the pandemic. The place was a breath of fresh air for people who didn't' give a shite about covid. Only place that gave AF less was Mexico.
