I was a defensive end and TE/Right OT in high school and first 2 years of college.
I can tell you that you eat a shite ton of food during that time. I would have destroyed that fast food.
My normal diet daily during college was a stack of 6 blueberry pancakes and 4 sausage patties for breakfast, at morning break I’d go get a 5 piece dark fried chicken from a nearby gas station, then lunch at noon, then 3 McDoubles after class before practice, then dinner. Right before bed eat 2 PB&J sandwiches and a bowl of ice cream. That was just to maintain my weight at 265 at 6’6 height.
