Whoppers aren't $4.19, they're 2 for $6.

If you ordered 33 of them do you pay $4.19 for any of them?

if he actually paid for it then he's a terrible businessman. no way in hell these companies wouldnt have offered up the food for free just for the advertising value

Ummm, you guessed how he paid for it!

He made that deal and got it for free!

That’s what he does for our country daily but gets no respect from the likes of you

Pretty pitiful

These pictures made me laugh in a way not very many things can. Friggin hilarious.

I can tell trump sat there and thought “what would 100 18-22 year olds want more than anything? An all you can eat fast food buffet!

I bet you nary a sandwich was left on that table either

I can't believe how proud Trump is that he paid for the hamburgers. Like he's making a magnanimous gesture. He just can't pass up a chance to feed his ego.

I wonder how Trump paid for the burgers. Whipped out cash? Gave them a credit card? No sure about that.

So you didn't have any reaction to Trump being so proud that he bought the hamburgers?

Trump likes validation, it is what it is. It’s a character flaw. Everyone has them.

This video is great!

ESPN

quote:

Trump said he paid for their meal of "American fast food'' because of the partial government shutdown. He did not disclose the tab.

quote:

"We went off and we ordered American fast food, paid for by me. Lots of hamburgers, lots of pizza,'' Trump said after returning to the White House from a trip to New Orleans. "I think they'd like it better than anything we could give." Some players "whooped" when they saw the spread, according a pool report.

quote:

Spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said much of the staff that works in the White House residence has been furloughed due to the shutdown, "so the president is personally paying for the event to be catered with some of everyone's favorite fast foods."

quote:

"What a fun day it's been," Swinney said. "It's an honor to be a part of this tradition, and to be honest with you, it's really cool that football can create an opportunity like this."

I love how they set it all up like it's a five star meal.

You can have all of the foie gras and filet mignon if you want. Whoever has the burger wins every time. It's the perfect food.

Dang. You missed your calling. You should have been a campaign spokesman. That was good.

Do you limit yourself to meaningless posts on purpose.

So, what did you think about Trump (and Sanders) making a big deal about Trump paying for the hamburgers?

This is so damn funny. I thought he was joking when he first said it but he actually did it. I personally wouldn't want to eat that crap. All three chains are disgusting. If it was Five Guys or something of similar quality, I would tear it up.
