In the primaries me and a few others were trying, in vain, to explain that Trump was way closer to the Lindsey Graham types than anyone else. Some people were fine with that and others pretended that we were bots.

So there's nothing to argue, Trump's entire first term was spent surrounded by Bushies, Graham, bombing countries, spending freely, talking big about border security etc... In between terms he helped get Ukraine money through a Republican controlled congress.

There are way too many Joe Rogan "I didn't vote for this" morons. This is exactly who Trump has always been and campaign rhetoric was obviously Trump lying. He's a pure politician, there's nothing he won't promise for a vote.

What wars did Trump fight or start during his first term?

He was the first president since Carter not to fight or start a war.

Sounds like he starts off with an argument from authority. Levin should be aware of that fallacy.

I said he bombed countries, the same thing he's doing now.

He bombed Syria when his daughter cried, he dropped one on Soleimani. He's always done this, not to this extent but this isn't really new.

And so Levin's vast intellect tells him that picking fights with the world's most popular podcaster is a good idea? I don't think he should be questioning other people's intellect if that is the route he is taking.

Rogan worked just as hard to get Trump elected as Levin did to ensure he never did.

My, my how the tables have turned.

You’re comparing shooting 150 missiles at Syria to a month long engagement with Iran involving $200B+ in spending encompassing multiple carrier task forces and sending in marines and airborne troops after regime change in Venezuela and openly telling us we will take out Cuba next?

Nothing in his first term or rhetoric suggested this was a likely outcome for his first two years.

I'll never in my life understand the appeal of Mark Levin. Even if I agreed with every word he said his voice is horrifying. And he actually thinks his pig squealing is his super cool "thing". Of course another self fart sniffer like Seance Hannity calls this little bitch "The Great One". It's all Israel all the time and if you even cock an eyebrow at anything to do with them Levin will wish death upon your whole family but if you agree that Israel is the only thing that matters then you could murder puppies and Levin would suck your dick purple. Trump has always been the cool president but he's aligned himself with the losers club this time

Levin is a retard but this is because Rogan said Hilary and Obama were better at deporting people. You should probably have the context about what Rogan said, here ya go.

So instead of proving Rogan wrong with facts and data he just crashes out and attacks him personally got it

Levin is a typical Jew. They use their Jewness just like blacks use the race card. Can’t question anything or your an antisemite.

Levin is one of the few who understands the regime in Iran must go, otherwise, you have accomplished nothing; ask Iranian people 88% of them.

Trump wants peace. He doesn't want Iran starting conflicts all over the ME.

You conservatives really think that because Trump ran on peace that he should just let Iran have a nuke when they refuse to negotiate. That is not being a peace president, that is being a weak president.

It's absurd that you people think that wanting peace means you have to let terrorists do whatever they want. Because wanting peace means you can never, ever, ever go to war no matter the circumstances.

It takes both sides for peace unless you beat them into submission. Trump just can't unilaterally declare peace like you are acting.

You people are not reasonable. You can wish on a star for peace all you want, but it usually comes at the tip of a sword.

Trump has shown multiple times that he wants peace by ending several wars where the combatants are willing. But of course, you have to ignore that part of recent history.

Mark Levin is a great Patriot. America’s winning this engagement in Iran and solving a 45 year old problem. Melt harder you leftist Islamist.

I am because it demonstrates a pattern.

The guy who bombed Syria wasn't a dove or an isolationist, no matter how much you want to believe. If he's capable of doing that he was obviously capable of bombing Iran and *gasp* spending lots of money doing so.

This conversation is funny to me though. I'm still having the same arguments about Trump's neocon behavior from 2017-2020 but now with someone who's mad that Trump just now started showing neocon behavior.

He ran on peace.

“I’m not going to start a war. I’m going to stop wars.” DJT on election night

He criticized endless conflicts in places like Iraq and portrayed himself as someone who stopped wars from happening and brought troops home, while warning that opponents would lead to broader global conflicts (including risks of “World War III”).

He hasn’t ended or stopped support for the Ukraine war.

He’s intervened in Venezuela.

He’s fighting a war in Iran.

He’s already telling us he’s going to intervene in Cuba.

Your argument is that in order to have peace he needs to fight a bunch of wars.

That’s the actual definition of a neocon interventionist and I disagree with you logically and morally. You’re paraphrasing Dick Cheney circa 2004 and most reasonable people walked away from that 20 years ago but you are apparently doubling down on it even as we begin sending ground troops.

quote:

You can wish on a star for peace all you want, but it usually comes at the tip of a sword.

We had a nuclear deal with Iran and peace in the Middle East. We have neither of those things now.

Trump was the objectively the least interventionist President of my entire lifetime in his first term and ran as anti-interventionist for his second term, there was no logical reason to believe he was going to govern as a neocon this go around.
