I'll give him higher marks than that. First of all, just because anyone could have closed down the border doesn't mean they would have.

For some reason everyone but Trump acted too afraid to do it.

Second, he did a lot to kick the legs out from under USAID. IMO that was just as important as the border. Maybe more. The next Democratic POTUS will open the border up again on day one, but rebuilding USAID is a much bigger undertaking.

Likewise with DEI programs and adults grooming kids to trans.

And the pussies here want to pull up the moat and cower behind it, but I believe in American hegemony, so I have no problem with Trump's foreign policy moves.

He did a lot, frankly.

Now, it was all done with EO whereas I wish it had been done legislatively, but...

The disappointing things have been the tariffs—which, in the context of the rest of the grifting he's done look suspiciously like market manipulation—the rest of the shameful grifting, the using the federal government to buy into private businesses, the out of control spending and bribing with tax exemptions and stimulus checks, etc.
