To answer the question about people sending inferior made steel, when it actually matters they use independent testing on the steel for every shipment that comes in to make sure it's the right quality.
That applies for aerospace, nuclear related projects and military defense.
In other words, it's already assumed to be possible and is accounted for.
Bigger problem is being cut off due to sanctions and what not.

We needed extra capacity years ago. Current lead times for main steel are months behind where they need to be for a healthy construction industry. The only time it was worse recently was during the Amazon warehouse build-outs but that was for bar joists. We ended up having owners choose to go with WF beams instead of joists strictly because of timing even though their buildings ended up costing more than they would have.

This is a good move for the economy don't get confused. I'm not arguing against it in any way, shape or form
but people bring this here and everybody gets excited and wants to argue oh see, Trump is doing the right things
but if it doesn't turn into election wins it can be undone when the other side is in power. That's the problem with executive orders or doing everything from the top
And that does matter it does matter whether these accomplishments can be established as irreversible
for it to actually happen
does that make sense?

I understand what you are saying. I disagree with your sentiment.
You want us to never celebrate good news when it can be undone in the future.
The problem with that logic is that by not acknowledging it, you are making it more likely to be undone. If we give the administration credit, then it is more likely that a friendly administration is elected in the future. If people understand an action is good, they will look for the candidate who will continue it.
Also, even laws can be undone, so I don't see a reason to not appreciate good business deals and EOs simply because they are more exposed.
Plus, it's terrible to go through life looking for reasons to not be happy. Even if it can be undone, appreciate it while it's around.
