90% of economists, on any given day, are either guessing or wishcasting.

Where’s Slackster? That dude was constantly spamming us with economic doomsday predictions—all of which turned out to be dead wrong.

I was in finance for many years in a high ranking position at my firm. Most of these people are FOS.

Many economists have been compromised in the same way scientists and doctors have. They create data sets to get any result they want if it’s politically expedient to do so.

Some items have gone up and others down in price. The dog food that I get from Costco is down to $27.99 when it was previously at a high of $33.99.. But that statement above is beyond absurd. They had his first term to look back on. He basically unleashed the energy sector, went after burdensome regulations, lowered taxes and got the hell out of the way. Then the magic happened.

What on earth made them think his policies would be any different this go around? Other than… I don’t know.. lying to create a backlash?

They remind me of the 50 "intelligence officials" who swore on their dirty virtue that the Hunter Biden laptop was "Russian disinformation."

3 weeks out from the 2020 so-called election, no less.

Economics is rife with opinion, both that I agree with and I disagree with.

I would assume leftists have an inside track to Econ Nobels like they do any other prize with a whiff of opinion in the selection process.

Every person I know who hires people for their business are thrilled that actual Americans are applying for jobs and thrilled that they are finally getting a good work force to work with

Actually... The down home good old fashioned American people are the worst.. Most get hired and don't even show up on their first shift.

My Mexican contracted who had most of his crew deported hired a couple white guys.. HE said they worked half a day and quit.. Claimed it was too much work for them they said.
